Istanbul

Now I am in Istanbul visiting my good friend Matt who I met in Kenya and then came to visit me in Toronto and later on I visited him in his hometown in Stuttgart. Now we have met in four different countries, Kenya, Canada, Germany and now in Turkey. That's awesome!

The weather here is hotter than Jordan but still the cool breeze is present! The most astonishing thing about Istanbul and particularly Istiklal street is that you can sit on the streets and enjoy the free Internet coverage that the city is providing, first I thought that it must me a shitty coverage since it is open to all, but to my surprise it is not, its actually pretty fast and I am writing this post sitting on one of the benches enjoying a fresh squeezed orange juice and Internet! This is heaven!!!

Beautiful Jordan

I arrived at Jordan to see my good friend Emad waiting for me. It was really nice seeing him again after four months. The weather here in Jordan is unbelievable!! It feels like in Europe, cool breeze and no humidity like freaken Dubai! He took me to this art and music festival in Jarash which is the second biggest art and music festival in the middle east after Cairo.

Had an Arabic ice cream, met some new people who are eager to be stars! I just love the weather here, and it is really refreshing my mind from all the stress work I have been put through the past few months!

For One More Day

'For One More Day' is a quick, slick read, full of literary jewels andlines that go down like a sip of water. The mythical, magical world that lives behind Mitch Albom's eyes, where you can go back and fix what was wrong, where it doesn't hurt to dole out forgiveness, where a mother walks the earth like an angel paying homage to our one true treasure -- our families -- is a place I wish I lived. If you had the chance, just one chance, to go back and fix what you did wrong in life, would you take it? And if you did, would you be big enough to stand it? Mitch Albom, in this new book, once again demonstrates why he is one of my favorite writers: a fearless explorer of the wishful and magical, he is also a devout believer in the power of love. For One More Day will make you smile. It will make you wistful. It will make you blink back tears of nostalgia. But most of all, it will make you believe in the eternal power of a mother's love

Jordan

In less than 10 hours I will be leaving to Jordan to visit friends I made last April when I went there for Naseej Conference! I am so excited that I will see them again! After my visit to Jordan for the weekend I will be heading to Turkey to visit my buddy Matt, who works in Istanbul now on an AIESEC traineeship.

I love the life of a traveller! :)
