I just noticed it today, I left home in the morning to work and there was this really hot wind blowing. I first thought that it another stupid summer weather, but as I got to work, everybody was listening to the radio to learn more about this hurricane that is approaching. It is called Hurricane Gonu, and as I write this, it is hitting Muscat (The Capital of Oman) which is only three hours away from the city of Abu Dhabi where I reside. The speed of this hurricane is 240 kph. I'm looking outside my room and the palm tress are in weird angles from the blow of the wind, that's here so imagine what is happening in Muscat! And yet there was no announcement if the city would shut down tomorrow!!!
